You can get clean rotifer starters at Aquatic Ecosystems.

Just put "rotifer" into the search field on the home page and see what comes
up. They have rotifer cultures, rotifer eggs, and rotifer sieves.
I use a syringe and a 0.45micron filter for vinegar eels. It would probably
work for rotifers as well. Email me offline if you're interested in my setup
for extraction.
