Ahhhh....

Sorry to waste your time Patrick repeating stuff you are more familiar with
than I. Hopefully someone else will be intrigued by it.

By the way, in the FAQ section of that site Turner mentions how very
aggressive those fish are. You may not want to keep them together.

The temperatures mentioned in that material suggest that maybe marmoratus
(like Nothos, Pupfish and Aplocheilus) are good fish to work with in the
summer.

One other caution, from a foul up of mine. Figuring that blackworms would
help the one marmoratus I had several years ago generate more eggs, I left a
couple of worms in a pickle jar, forgetting that there was some salt in the
water.

Salt and blackworms don't mix.

The worms died, fouled the water and the marmoratus was lost. It is a little
embarrassing admitting to such a dumb, short-sighted thing, but I wouldn't
want anyone else (who might read this) making the same mistake.
