Re: linear piston pumps

Yes, I had a couple small ones. One, an airline came loose, bleeding off too much air and that model used the un-bled air as a "cushion" for the end stroke of the piston. Without the air "cushion", it beat itself to junk by the time I got home and checked the fish room.

Are linear pumps the ones which you don't need to bleed off the extra air? I
know with some (the old Dynamaster was one) it seemed a good idea to have a
bleeder valve.

Thanks and all the best!
