Re: Silent Giant

Paul, depending on where the Silent Giant is located, I
would isolate it in a styrofoam box (have pump resting on a layer of foam
rubber). Drill a hole to friction fit or glue in
a short length of hard airline tubing (in same plane as air
outlet) then surround in styrofoam peanuts, cut a notch in
the lid for the power cord and, for even greater vibration
isolation get some conical brass feet (4) like they use on
loudspeakers and affix 1 inch from each corner on the bottom, then set on a
plinth of wood. I betcha that'll quite
'er down real good.

definately out pumping my Rena 400, but that is working so poorly I think it
needs a rebuild.
