My Aphyosemion celiae sometimes got bored of the mop and Java moss in their
tank and laid a few eggs into the floss of the (open top) box filter. This
was no accidental draw, there were usually more than one at a given spot.
They were not scattered either, the parents apparently seeked a specific
place and laid their eggs there. Go figure. All the trouble you go into to
give them the perfect setup and they don't even know what the filter is
there for.
