Re: Wondering about cultivating plants

What kind of garden soil? Anykind just the same stuff for house plants? I'm 
looking to cultivate foreground plant like Echinodorus tenellus and others, 
how much water do i put in? just enought to cover it or should i leave some 
of the plant out of the water? And if i where to cultivate some hygro like 
sunset hygro how much water do i use for that? and can i use sodium 
bicarbonate?
