 Subject: Keeping LFS brine shrimp

i bought these $1.47 brine shrimp in a small container
at the lfs to change the diet of my killifishes.
(since I can not seem to hatch my own)
why do you need a light on top of the bbs hatchery?
I always feed my fishes bloodworms and I thought a
change would be good for them.
anyway, is there any way to keep these shrimp i bought
to live a little longer than the lfs told me?
they said I have to feed it to the fishes before a
span of a week before they all die and go bad.
Can I feed the shrimp anything? Can I change their
 water? How?

Brine shrimp can live to maturity easily. Provide a lot of aeration and feed
them yeast on the first day, and every day add some flour to the yeast until
in two week you are feeding a 50:50 mixture of yeast:flour. The amount to
use is about the size of a pea per gallon of water. I have raised quite
large quantities in just a large mouth pickle jar. The complete instructions
are contained in an old AKA Killie Notes. I will request permission to copy
