Speaking of a personal experience, do you want to be served by a company that is "Serving the World" or a company that is "Always there on time"? I have to cross-border many items for my job and I'll tell you that one company will always gets your material on time, in one piece. Most company will reserve some cargo space while the serious company fly their own planes. Fed-something also have their own custom duty clearance services which makes sure that the fishes gets there ON TIME with or without customs.
With the kind of rare fish we ship through mail services, it IS worth paying the few extra dollars to get the stuff on time. Now, why would you pay for an extra insurance if you get the guaranty that your shipment will be there by a certain time?
