RE: Web page size (OT-spam)

Lee and Vasco,
	If you go to my homepage you will see that mine take a while to load at
56K also, but that was because when I made the page I had DSL.  Well, with
the fact that I am a teacher, and my wife and I are going to one income in
July, I cannot afford broadband at the present time.  You will find that
the majority of the people on the internet are using 56K or less
connections.  This is pointed out in many web page architect training
books (like “Web Pages That Suck.”)  

	A good thing to keep in mind when putting a web-page together is the
inability for some people to load web-pages quickly.  Usually keeping each
web-page to less than 130K per loadable page is a good rule.

Anyway, that is my $0.02 worth.
