Hi Mach,

I was trying to remember the rule and I think that you are right as the
thing you are pouring into is the thing that will most likely splash up. On
the other hand as the water is in a 20 gal fish tank and the acid comes in
gallon jugs, it would only seem logical to pour acid into the water anyway.
