Harry, I agree with all your comments regarding Rogers work. I too have been
working hard on documenting collection data in my website
http://www.killifish.f9.co.uk/Killifish/Killifish%20Website/Index.htm & the
code library is well worth a look. I am still updating work from original
collectors.
This information can very easily be lost in the future. I'm sure many of us
have been to lectures & seen collection slides of a trip. Ten years on you
ask yourself why that trip was never written up in a journal. Before you
know it the collector has left the hobby or passed on & the material is
lost.
