Re: GE Lightbulbs
Hi,
I don`t know what is going on in your fish room with the lights as it sounds like you have some problems. I built my fish room in 1975 when I retired and I have used ordinary shop lights thru out, 6 altogether and I have to replace the bulbs on a regular basis, but in 28 years I have never replaced a ballast. I buy the cheapest bulbs I can find and run them 14 hrs. a day on a timer. It`s true that I grow plain old water sprite and Java fern, nothing special but just this morning I had to throw out handsfull of both to make room for the fish to swim around. I,m not much of an electrician and maybe someone out there can help with that, but you may have problems with your electrical service that is damaging you lights. I don`t know but there is something wrong going on here. Regards, Duane
