The three Wal-Marts in my area that I visit depending on what other errands I'm running each have these bulbs (in the 48" size) in stock about half the time. I have it in mind that they're $5.88 or thereabouts, but it could be $4.88. I've been pairing them up with the GE plant/aquarium bulb for a couple of years and am a happy with that combo, although I confess I have not done much to research any alternatives.
