Marc Weiss confirms that his Ketapang l[pellets and extract come from a 
relative of the almond tree, same genus but another species. He states that 
this one too is used by Betta breeders in the Far East. I've found at least 
two other species, both with strong pharmacological properties, and I would 
think Marc's is one of them.
