Killies in Quito

As I have just arrived in Quito, I have yet to hit the
bush and flush any out any annuals or Riv.'s.

But I tested the tap water at my flat and it measures
a pH of 7.1 and a TDS of 140.  So, the water will
support killie life.  I brought about 4, one gallon
bags of various annual eggs with me and have hatched
out 10 species for far including Terr. dolichopterous
and Simp. marginatus.

I am hoping to get with the University this week to
see what fish collecting trips they sponsor...
