Hi! I don't know what Ketapang means but I know it's a
Malay word for sure. I'm from Malaysia. I'm ethnic
chinese but I learned three languages in primary and
high school: Malay(the national language), Chinese and
English:)

Back to the question, I did a quick search on Google:

and you are right that it's another name for Asian
Almond tree, but in Malay language.

Thanks, Non. Do you know if Ketapang is another name
for the almond leaf tree or if the ketapang is
