Plague and Plecos

I have read several entries about these nasty diseases, and thankfully have 
not encountered them. I do have a question about the 'predatory plecos'. I've 
come across this comment before,but in the 30 yrs. of fiskkeeping I've 
had,I've never seen it happen. I've had direct experience with many large 
plecos and never had one turn killer. Except for my Osirius swordplant. The 
LFS that I worked in had an 18 inch SnowKing in with various fish,including 
tetras,but it was happy with Romaine and zucchini . Not claiming to know 
everything,just curious.
