Re: Class sponsorships
What a PITA this has been!
I found the problem causing the images in the store not to load. You don't realize what a trail of little things you have left behind as you develop a web site over the years, until something goes wrong and you have to troubleshoot problems. Most of you won't be interested in this, but the problem was caused by the fact that I have an alias in the main web server folder to another folder holding all the information for the software that runs the shop. It is actually a second set of server software, but it runs as a cgi to the main server software. In moving the files over to the temporary machine, I had forgotten to change that alias. Who can think of everything? Certainly not me. Well, it continued to work because those files were on the other machine I have on the same subnet. I think it was yesterday I decided to remove them because I needed the disk room. Boom! The alias, of course no longer worked. It just took me a while to figure out my the links were sending a bad UR!
