I think this is all a bit like pinning down slang. For me, it's "killie"
in English, "killi" in French and "killy" in Pennsylvanian.
Just out of curiosity - given the American/Dutch origins of the word,
how influential was the choice of names for the AKA at its founding in
moving the popular name away from Panchax and into "killifish"?
