Re: AKA Membership Dues



Have all of the people sending in the wrong amount current members who had
BNL to look at? Some people might not have renewed their member for several
months.

Truth me, filling in a form letter - "Sorry but you did not send in the
current due amount of $26, I have prorated your $____ to ____ months." is
easy. You have to fill out an envelope to return the check so why not make
it a letter instead.

I remember one person sending in a form from one of the aquarium magazines.
It was like five years old (2 rate changes).

Part of the duties of a membership chair, it is look for incorrect
information especially after rate changes. A quick web search will allow you
to locate most of the locations with membership information. A quick email
to the owner will generally get the information changed. Don't forgot the
magazines.

And Gary, thank you for volunteering for being membership chair.
