Re: AKA LOGO

Re: AKA logo
Gentlemen
I believe that if someone checks the AKA archives they

Will find that the AKA logo drawing was orignally
designed and created by Dr. Neal Foster of Ann Arbor
MI. Neal is a Life Member of the AKA and in the early
1960's designed the logo, and I might add a fine
gentleman. I feel very fortunate to have such killie
experts here in MI.

In answer to the question about whose fish/photo it
is, I think the image on
the shirts was derived from the image that is used in
the AKA logo online. If
so, that is an old, old photo and to my knowledge its
origins are unknown. If
I remember correctly, Lee Harper scanned the
photograph from one of the old
indexes. We used that because the AKA owned the
copyright. Lee, is that right?
Do you have information on whose photograph it was? I
edited the original in
Photoshop to remove the background, inorder to put the
fish in the logo. I
think, but I'm not certain, that Susan started with
that.
