Re: Chicago Killifish Association 2002 Annual Show is canceled
Hi Bill,
I understand the level laying field and preventing shows for just points but this is still stupid. Obviously, the Chicago club is not trying to cheat anyone, having been in existence since 1958. Whoever is in charge of this should simply wave the due date and let an important show happen as planned. This is red tape silliness and is most definately the fault of the AKA enforcing a rule that is totally unnecessary and even hurtful in this case. I have no personal interest in this as I do not show fish -- not my bag -- but I hate dumb decisions based on meaningless "official" rules. This is a hobby club -- someone needs to get real, real fast and correct this idiotic event.
