I have become very appreciative of a brine shrimp strainer manufactured by a
European concern called NUOVA or NUOVA-AQUARISTIK. I bugged several
local LFSs and when they wouldn't/couldn't get one I ordered one from Daleco
for a couple of bucks (several years ago). They fit nicely into the top of a
widemouthed gallon pickle jar. A few of the smaller baby b.s. will slip
through, but ...

    Being a klutz I have previously flipped or brushed a brine shrimp net's
handle too many times, spilling the contents. I have never broken one of
those pickle jars and it is almost impossible to spill the sieves.
