Re: Abnormal behavior?

Hi,
I'm inclined to say the fish are worse for the travel. the lethargy you
describe is not healthy behavior. The bad news is you may not want
normal behavior. Those two tanks are severely crowded.
The randy amieti is something I've seen with fundulopanchax before. I
had a male gardneri that used to drive apistogramma of both sexes down
the gravel. They got mightily annoyed, but they never killed him.
I notice you seemed to draw a line between these killies and tropical
fish. I'd be sure to keep them in the low seventies fahrenheit,
especially as you acclimate them to your place. They should be very
active.
