It has become a bit hard to find, but is still the best infusoria food if
you don't want strange stuff in the refrigerator. One drop on a clump of
Java moss will give a cloud of infusoria in 24 hours (assuming you have not
killed them with "Amquel" or "Prime" o/e).

A rice-grain sized piece of mashed egg yolk stirred into a tsp of water
makes an excellent substitute, but it will spoil quicker, so needs
refrigeration.
