Thanks for those who have replied. I think I better
rephrase my 2nd question. I didn't word it correctly.

What I mean is can I put several types of Fp. gar. and
Aphy. togther in a temporary holding tank as long as I
can tell the difference between the females, and don't
provide them a place to spawn. I do realize that most
of the females look almost the same. But I think I can
still put Ahy. australe gold and Fp. gar. N'sukka
together since their females look very different. I'm
not worry about that. I'm more concerned about if they
will cross breed.
