I have purchased three fly swatters and a couple of boxes of the
coiled fly paper at the local Lowes Hardware store. I uncoil the fly
paper (the REALLY STICKY stuff) over the area where I keep my worm
culture and hang them there. the coils collect the flies easily.
Those which get away get the swatter! It takes three weeks for the
flies to cycle from adult through maggot and fly again. One just has
to get into the cycle and stop them. Restart any worm cultures which
are infected and destroy and restart any fly culture which is
contaminated.
Save yourself and the fish room!
Back to swat some flies and change some water,
Charles H
