Seems to be some misconception here. just for a test, I just took a
MS word page. 17K in size and converted it to a pdf As a .DOC it was
17K and translated it is reduced to 7 K. There are no pictures
imbedded.
I have done the same with word.doc 's with imbedded jpg's and
reduced the over all file size to much less than half. This is great
savings in bandwidth seems to me. I have found Adobe's software to be
a great method of sharing information. Of course one could look back
a couple of years ago and find my article in the AKA Journal. It is
printed there if one wants to copy it.
