Re: The Camellanus Treatment.pdf & Adobe Acrobat Readers & even AKA membership lists

Boat, it may be that you don't have the Adobe Acrobat reader and don't want
to invest the hard drive space to save it. I clicked on Charles' homepage
with an idea of just jotting down the medicine - Levamisole hydrochloride.
If you do want the freebie reader, go to
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html .

However Charles provides a fascinating discussion of what Camellanus is
about, gives the precise directions for mixing a solution of the Levamisole
stuff up and duly credits Ken Laidlaw for the recipe (about six years ago)
and Marty Greenwell and others for additional data.

Having read Charles' discussion of the problem of parasitic nematode
infections in killies, I would urge you to read it too. It may be old hat to
you, but I feel that I really grew in my understanding of an occasionally
serious killie problem. I would want the background before using the
medicine.

And we even have a clear reason as to why we shouldn't eat freshly treated
killies. ;)

Thanks Charles!

My printer has compatibility issues with Windows XP and I can't print it out
or (naturally) save it in pdf format. (I could buy the Pro version of
Acrobat...) Charles' homepage does bookmark though.

Bill Vannerson mentioned last Friday that he had posted an updated AKA
membership list in the Member's section of the AKA site. Almost immediately
Charles Nunziata asked if Bill could provide a list in Word format. (I know
Bill ... no good deed must go unpunished.)

I too would like a downloadable version of the membership list - actually a
text file would be quicker and more easily used in several ways.

There are a lot of notes I need to send out. If I can't cut and paste off of
a text file, the tyranny of the urgent dictates that a lot of those people
simply will not get mailed. (Especially after taking the time to whine
here...)

pdf guarantees that a page on a site will be read as it was assembled. The
government is keen on having their documents load just so. There are good
reasons for saving documents to pdf. I just wish I didn't have to print them
and then scan them to save them to disk or mailing list.

All the best!

Scott
