Re: Camellanus worm treatment

Levamisole might work - I can't find a reference that says that it does,
though - but fenbendazole (available from small animal vets as Panacur)
mixed with food at 0.25% (250ppm) will be more effective. Many fish will
not eat treated food, and alternatively, the water can be treated with
equine Panacur (available from vets or feed stores) which contains 100mg/ml
and can be used at 2ppm (this is 7.6mg per gallon) in the water. This
treatment should be repeated three times at weekly intervals. Remove carbon
filters, bypass or turn off UG filters, and make a significant water change
2-3 days after each treatment, then resume normal filtration until the next
treatment cycle.
