Re: daphnia
Justthought I woudl share this with the rest of you. I
spoke with a old fish farmer who has been fish farming
for over 35 years in Florida. He told me that there is
a summer daphnia and a winter daphnia in Florida and
this seems to coincide with what I have as mine do
poorley when it gets cool like under 65f but go nuts
at 80-90 f they like the heat. I suppose I have the
summer daphnia. It was great talking with this guy and
I learned allot about Daphnia from him. I wouldlike to
get some Moina to compare them to what I have as far
as growing in the heat and I wouldlike to get a more
northern "winter"Daphnia to compare to as well. So if
anyone wants to trade Daphnia and compare notes im
game. Anyone else have thoughts about the winter vs
summer Daphnia thing. I think it's very interesting. I
grow my Daphnia outdoors.
