I put adult Daphnia and green water in the baby container and let nature
take its course. Daphnia do lay dormant cysts in the bottom mulm when
stressed enough. That can be damp-dried and hatched later, but I don't know
enough of the details to be helpful, there. I think they are live bearing,
under less stressful conditions, just like Artemia.
