Re: A. Calliurum

Eric,

FYI, that A. calliurum was rabelled A. australe when they arrived at the
dealer tanks. I look at them and "feel" that they look more like A.
calliurum than A. australe. Upon checking with books, I found that CAL can
be found in the same place with Fundulopanchax deltaense and Cromaphyosemion
bitaniatum. Since that shipment contained all 3 species, I though I could
savely "assumed" that they are A. calliurum. I will take picture of them
soon. Expert out there please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased a trio of Aphysemion calliurum, and I have a
question about them.

Mine are a light peach/yellow color and the male is about 3cm long with red
speckling over its body, the tail has a thin line of cerulean blue followed
by a thicker band of lemon yellow, he also has some black "dusting" over his
body, the females on the other hand about 2.5cm long and are just a
yellowish/peach color. They are all healthy, very active and eat alot.

my question is, will the male color's intensify or will he color up when he
reaches his full size, or will he stay this color for its whole life? he is
rather drab to look at right now.

Thanks,

Eric
