BBS HATCHING

Hi All,

I hatch bs eggs in 2 quart glass milk jars filled to the point where
the glass starts to form the neck. I add two tbsps of Morton's ice cream salt
and 1/4 tsp of epson salt. I have found that 2 tsps of eggs is about all my
jars can fully hatch. I keep a 100W incandescent bulb about 5 inches from the
jars to keep the temperature near 80F. I use fairly strong airflow but not so
much as to push too many eggs onto the sides of the glass above the water.
The eggs usually hatch in 24 hours and certainly by 36 hours. I siphon bbs in
the morning and evening from a jar and then clean it and restart with new
water and eggs.
