RE: BBS HATCHING

Well Mike, I don't measure things very carefully. I have these three quart
dri-rite jars. I fill 'em about two thirds full, add two heaping
tablespoons of sidewalk salt and one half to one teaspoon (depending on my
needs) of eggs. Aerate them well enough to keep everything suspended. Works
for me.

Hi,
Can anyone provide the approximate amount by volume or weight of salt to use
per gallon of water to hatch brine shrimp? Specific gravity figures abound,
but how does that translate?
Also, what volume amount of brine shrimp eggs is appropriate for one gallon
of water?
Thanks,
mike
