Hello,

Sending dues reminders to people who let their membership lapse makes
business sense: By investing 21¢ for a postcard, AKA gets a chance to
retain a $26 dues-paying member. Even at 5-10% success rate it is a good
investment.

Let's not forget, that every additional member costs the AKA just the
postage for the publications, because the expense of printing it was
already paid.

Whether Gary has the time to do it -- that's another question. Perhaps
that job could be done by someone who every month receives address
labels of members that did not renew & mails them the postcards. I seem
to remember, that somebody volunteered to help the Membership Chairman.
Let's use him/her!
