membership snafus

I also had a few problems when I'd renewed my dormant membership back in 3-01.
My cc was charged twice! and didn't receive a credit until I'd pressed for 
one!  Then , 
no BNL or JAKA  until June!  Not the best way to maintain, or bring in 
membership.
  But, this is a group of volunteers, and I can't do a better job at this 
time.  I would like to see a more profesional time line in the near future!  
Possibly even a better streamlined system of dates for renewal.  Quarterly, 
or January and June?  Just a suggestion.
