RE: Killies for profit ( Ed's Aquarium)

The Ed's Aquarium I recall was a mall shop in Livingston Mall back in the
1970's.

As I remember it the Ed's that I knew was a small building, what appeared
to be an old converted single story ranch house. It was pretty small but
had the best selection of fish around including Killies and Discus. It was
on Hempstead Turnpike, I believe in Farmingdale. I had no idea that Ed's
belonged to a chain. The store was usually crowded and I had to ride my
bicycle about 6 or 7 miles on Saturdays to get these. During those days we
had Blue Laws and most everything was closed on Sundays, I believe Ed's was
also closed on Sundays.
