1. A mated (for sure) pair. [6 young often produce at least one pair.]
2. Rather soft, ultra-clean water in a big tank.
3. Heavy live-food conditioning and slightly raised temp.
4. Privacy (soft music and candlelight a good idea, too :^) )

All the general aquarium atlases have advice on this topic, so it is a good
idea to consult them before posting to a *really* inappropriate group. [Does
this apply to folks who answer, here, too? ;-)]
