As one who breeds bettas too, I will pay MORE for a good female that a male
sometimes! And I will bid to (for me) exorbitant levels for Rivulus and
Simpsonichthys (still want to call them Cynolebias!) and Pterolebias
(whatever they are now) - see a trend towards brown fish here? Anyway, you
see it in all things - horses can be had for $250 to upwards of $750,000 ,
cars from $200 to $200,000 or more - it all depends on what you want or think
you need. A wise person once said an item is worth whatever you can get
someone to pay for it (and how quickly you need to sell it.) Carolyn
