Killies just happen...Except when they are put in a basement, and raised by
John Doe and fed brine shrimp.  We may not be trying to select for a new
strain but selection is at work even in our basement and it is on a
different track than those in the wild.

Plus most of our fish are inbred that's why there are so many varieties and
though most of us won't pay $305 for a fish, I've heard that some rivulus
keepers can get kind of crazy with bidding at the convention.  And talk
about inbreeding they take it to the extreme: Rivulus marmoratus!
