Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying one.  I have hard alkaline tap water.  The workload 
would be around 15-25 gallons a week.  Any advice on what I can get.

I see prices starting around $80 and going up on the Net.  I assume there 
are drawbacks to the cheaper systems?  What I'm really looking for here is 
speed, efficiency, and quality.  I assume you have to pay $$$ for such 
features....

Any advice?
