Mini Killie

Hi Tony,

Wow, I had a distance sense Foersch was in there somewhere, but I
had completely forgotten Za got the fish from Foersch -- I thought it was
Aquarium Imports. Ah how age and memory play with history! Maybe the mini was
emoyojok then as Foersch and Scheel had a close relationship?
Did you know that Tetra Press' mid 90's killie book was dedicated to
Foersch and full of his wonderful photos? They won't bring it out in english,
but it is great and has received almost no press here. The author was an east
german. The book is the size of the Tetra books on Rainbows, Dwarf Cichlids
and Gouramis -- about 200 pages. Worth the $30 if you read german or have a
sense of killie history.
Foersch did so much for the development of breeding annual killies
and in spreading those early amazing spawning photos of his. We can also
thank him for the distribution of Notho. furzeri when only he and Rosario
still had the fish in the early 70's.
