What a nice piece of ingenuity. The presentation and explanation are both
clear and well done. I spent some idle time surfing drip irrigation sites
today looking for fittings that would work in a similar system I have in mind
and your sharing this with us has shortened my search and development time a
lot! I wonder if a T- fitting inside the box with the vertical leg pointed up
with a piece of foam in it would act as an overflow that would go into the
drain. I'm away from home sometimes for a week or more and that may give me a
second line filter to plug up.
