Re: cutting glass
Forgot one thing about cutting glass. Go to your local glass supplier and by
a Fletcher glass cutter. Don't use the Red Devil ones you by at Home Depot or
some other home center. The fletchers are about $5 -$6. Also use a lubricant
on the wheel.
Lubricate it before every cut. Cut once, do not go back and forth. The best
way to break off the 45 degree cut is to lay the glass on a square edged
table with the score on the table edge, and the piece you want off over the
edge. Hold the glass firmly and take a piece of wood and hit the piece you
want off on the corner. Comes off like a champ.
