Re: cutting glass
We use glass tops on all of our tanks. There are two ways to accomplish whart
you want to do. You can purchase from your lps a plastic strip that will fit
onto your glass, that can be cut to allow for airlines and cords for heaters.
The way we do it is to cut the corners of the glass off to leave a 1/4"
opening for airlines and cords. If you do this, you can clean up the edges
with some emory cloth available at a hardware store. We recomend this so you
do not cut the cord or airline. Works like a charm for us. The we silicone a
small piece of wood onto the top to use as a handle.
