RE: Gardneri
I would try keeping the peat on the wet side. These are typically water
incubated eggs. I keep all my eggs on moist peat - less fungus and same
hatch date!

I' m trying a method of spawning and incubating gardneri that I read about
on this list. I put a pair of Jos Plateau in a 2.5 gal tank with a half
inch of peat on the bottom. I see a lot of eggs on the surface now after
about two weeks and I'm going to harvest them today. I'm wondering how dry
the peat should be for incubation. I wouldn't think it should be as dry as
for annuals, or should it?
