Lighting condition for breeding killies

Hi! I'm just wondering if killies will breed in the
dark. I have most of my breeders in my walking
closet:P So, it's dark in there and I only turn on the
light for 4 hours per day. Is that enough light for
them to breed? I have them in there for almost 2
months already, some species give same amount of eggs,
some give less.....
