Thanks to all for your microworm cultivation suggestions.
Versus my current practices, it appears I may need to increase one or more
of the following:
1.  temperature
2.  amount of seed yeast
3.  time before expecting a dense culture.

Possibly decrease:
1.  amount of water in the medium.

In addition to mixed cereal, I might try the following alternatives:
1.  instant/quick oatmeal
2.  instant mashed potatoes
3.  pulverized dog biscuits/cookies
