This may be a good industrial solution, but household water heaters are
usually too far and too poorly insulated to have much effect on water that is
trickling so slowly through the smaller RO system. My experience is that the
final 20' of tubing will set the temp of the water into the membrane. Just
keeping it in the warmest possible place is the easy way to increase
production.
Obviously, this depends on type of tubing, etc. I have had lots of temperature
blender experience (30 years running Holograf) and the same amount of RO
experience. Well, to be honest, I used DI for 20 years before switching to the
more economical RO systems. :-)
